Project Description
The study is designed to examine outcomes of individuals participating in 1 of 4 employment training and placement programs (FUTURES, JTPA, Employment Services, and Vocational Rehabilitation). The analysis is designed to answer the following questions: 1) how many people without a job in the year before contact with the program got a job somewhere within the year following completion? 2) how many of these people who came in contact with the workforce development system are still working somewhere after 3, 6, 9, and 12 months (and 24 months where the data is available for follow-up)? 3) how many of these people who came in contact with the workforce development system had higher earnings? 4) how many of these people who came in contact with the workforce development system moved from below to above the poverty line?
