Changes in eligibility: Are two-parent families treated differently from single-parent families; what other criteria exist for determining initial eligibility. Employment activities: Existence of employment plans, details on allowable work activities. Family caps: Whether family cap policies exist in state; benefits to family with excluded child; different treatment of "capped" families. Financial disincentives/sanctions: What penalties will be imposed on individuals/families who do not comply. Financial incentives: What deductions and disregards are allowed for earned and unearned income; how are assets defined and what is the maximum amount allowed when determining eligibility, including vehicles and restricted asset accounts. Other: State-only and separate state programs. Program requirements: School attendance requirements for children; teen parent residency/education requirements; child support cooperation policies; immunization and health screening requirements; work requirements. Social/Support services: what services are available; child care; health care; Medicaid; post-employment services.
