The project consists of a survey of Milwaukee families that apply to participate in Wisconsin Works (W-2). Survey will include those who apply but decide not to participate, those who are immediately diverted, those who are eligible for services, and those who are judged ineligible. Their work experience and family well-being will be assessed through face-to-face interviews conducted 12 months apart.
