Subgroups Analyzed None
Sample Size and Unit Random sample of 569 cases from all 6,092 TANF cases that closed in November 1997. First wave of interviews carried out between April 20 and May 10, 1998. Second wave between June 19 and July 14, 1998.
Execution Telephone numbers were located for 338 of the total 569; 211 proved to be current and accurate. 131 interviews were completed and 126 of these interviews were proven usable. Out of 126 completed interviews, 26 were conducted at respondents' homes. Each interview lasted approximately 20 minutes.
