This study profiles caseload patterns and characteristics of cases exiting cash assistance in Maryland beginning in October 1996.
The research questions addressed by this study are:
1) What are the statewide and jurisdictional trends in cash assistant case exits during each year beginning in 1996?
2) For the state as a whole as well as each local subdivision, what is the profile of cases which closed and what are the administrative reasons for each case?
