| Program/Policy Description |
The project goals are to understand the health care access, health-seeking behaviors, and health outcomes of immigrant women and their children. In order to monitor access to health care, we will conduct a survey with providers to determine policy changes made regarding serving immigrants, especially undocumented immigrants. To monitor health-seeking behaviors, we will conduct focus groups with immigrant women and analyze enrollment reports of entitlement programs. To monitor health outcomes, we will analyze vital records data. After data collection, we will produce recommendations for ameliorating any negative outcomes identified.
