Program/Policy Description The goal of this project is to learn about the status of policies to support and promote marriage at the state level. It includes policies that have been enacted, as well as those proposed and includes policies proposed or adopted prior to PRWORA and those suggested after the law's passage. The project does not examine specific programs operating in localities. Nor will it evaluate policies or make recommendations.
