Program/Policy Description This study is focusing on several HOPE VI sites as they are reoccupied after revitalization. The study seeks answers to eight questions on a range of topics including the impact of HOPE VI on resident characteristics and attitudes at the site and in the surrounding neighborhood. It will also assess the effect of the redevelopment on the city and neighborhood and vice versa. Other areas of study include management, maintenance, security policies and systems, crime patterns, resident services, and the impact of the new physical design both at the site and on the surrounding neighborhood.
