| Program/Policy Description |
This study will attempt to determine how effective programs have been in reducing the number of uninsured. The evaluation focuses on 10 states that represent a wide range of program designs and geographic regions, and that capture a high proportion of the target population—low-income children who were uninsured at the time SCHIP was established. The evaluation includes both quantitative and qualitative research components.
Key questions include:
1) What is SCHIP’s impact on uninsurance rates and enrollee satisfaction? |
